Wenn man den nicht-privaten Raum als Teil der Realität begreift, so sind Bild­inszenierungen in diesem Raum als eine Erweiterung der Realität zu sehen. Die Bilder sollen die Betrachter in andere Welten entführen, Wünsche wider­spiegeln und zur Steigerung oder Betonung einer Atmosphäre beitragen. In meiner Arbeit nutze ich diese Bild­inszenierungen um auf den Prozess des Bilder­machens selbst aufmerksam zu machen. Künstlichkeit, Ideal­vorstellungen, Konstrukte und Fragmente sind Motiv und gleichzeitig Thema der Bilder.

When conceiving the non-private space as a part of reality, then pictures in this space are, at least, an extension of reality. These pictures should take you into another world, they reflect your wishes or they can emphasize and increase a certain atmosphere. While working on this theme, it became obvious, that this work is about the process of creating pictures itself. Artificiality, ideal, construction and framing have always been a main theme in photography. In my pictures they become theme and motif at the same time.
